Would You Bet on These 6 Department Stores?
In this article, this author is positive when it comes to Dillards, J.C. Penney, Kohl's, Macy's, Sears Holdings Corporation, and TJX Companies. In my experience and research, TJX has consistently performed well. Kohl's has been strong, but shown some recent sales concerns. J.C. Penney looks like it will do three or four new locations next year. I don't have any exposure to Dillards and haven't looked much at Macy's. However, I don't understand how Sears Holdings, with all their troubles and lack of direction, made the list.
Check it out. ...and I would appreciate your opinion.
