New Store Announcements - Week of 8/8/11

The following were a list of stores that were mentioned in articles throughout the week.  Last week TJX Companies (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods) had the most stores announced.  This week Kohl's is the winner.

Menards to Start Construction in Missouri

As reported in the Southeast Missourian, Menards is the third largest home improvement store in the country.  The company has purchased the site, site work has begun, and building plans for the 162,340 square foot store have been submitted to the township.  


The company has approximately 250 stores in the country and will soon have 10 stores under construction slated to open in 2012.  


The store will employ 160 people.
