Best Buy Closing Stores

Best Buy plans to close 50 of its stores (Approx. 3.6%), eliminate 400 corporate jobs, and reduce costs by $800 million.

  1. I just peeked into the one near my office. Empty except for a few seniors. I never knew why they needed two stores 3 or 4 miles apart.
    Of course we lost two Circuit City's a few years ago.
    We used to have Crazy Eddie, Newmark and Lewis, Trader Horn, Brick Church, all long gone.

    The Internet, big boxes and Apple look like the future.

    On line sales circumvention of sales tax is a huge problem. $4.00 a gal. gas sours the shopping experience.
